2009 Mobile Marketing Association forum, Branding on focus

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Forum 2009 kicked off in New York City with branding as its focus. The forum covers the entirety of mobile channel pointing consumer engagement, branding via mobile and social media, et cetera on top discussions.

The event presented various case studies and discussions around privacy, location services, and opportunities from executives of mobile-based companies joining in the forum.

Just recently, MMA announced four giant US wireless providers (AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile USA) agreed of incorporating their mobile marketing guidelines within the MMA’s best practices; which the MMA believes a sign of the mobile marketing industry’s overall evolution as it moves forward.
