TMS Credits is the TMS payment system that offers a simple, fast and easy way for local businesses to interact with TMS Factory and for consumer to interact with the TMS mobile market place.
TMS credits are available internationally and support different reload and payment methods: direct transfer, Credit cards and Pay Pal at the launch but we are working on adding different local methods expending our footprint all over the world to enable 'banked' and 'unbanked' local businesses and consumers to access m-commerce.
TMS FACTORY USERS
A TMS credit account enables TMS factory users (local businesses) to receive revenues from merchant campaigns via the 'TMS Payback system' and/or to pay the clicks used in a marketing campaign.
A) TMS credits as a Payment method
- Merchant campaigns and TMS credits flow: the flow enables you to use TMS credit as a payment platform to sell items via mobile (for the moment: mobile coupons and mobile gift cards). Consumers will be able to pay directly with TMS credits or via a valid payment system (Credit card, Pay Pal...).
You build an offer and fix the price, consumer purchase it and get a voucher with a unique 'voucher code' linked to a unique 'redeem code'. When they redeem the offer providing the voucher you valid the redeem code (see consumer redemption chapter) and receive the purchase value in TMS credits. Anytime you can claim a 'Payback' to change your TMS credits in local currency and transfer the amount to your bank or Pay Pal account.
Note: merchant campaign cost: 12% per transaction @ 01 January 2011. This cost can be changed by TMS following the terms & conditions.
B) TMS credits as a currency
You can also use TMS credits as a currency to launch some marketing campaigns (based on a pay/click model), to purchase items as a consumer or soon (as an accredited reseller) to sell TMS credits to consumers (to reload their account).
- Marketing campaigns and TMS credits flow: the flow enables you to load a marketing campaign based on a pay/ click model.
You build a mobile offer based on a promotion or a discount coupon and pre load your campaign with a certain number of TMS credits (from your account) which will be debited each time consumers access to your mobile offer.
Note: Marketing campaign cost: US$ 0.30 per click (3 TMS credits) @ 01 January 2011. This cost can be changed by TMS following the terms & conditions.
TMS Credits reload
A TMS credit account can be reloaded by a transfer from another TMS credit account, via Credit card or via Pay pal. We are permanently adding new options, stay tuned. Please subscribe to the TMS newsletter or follow the TMS blog for the updates.
Consumers and TMS credits
Consumers can use TMS credits as a currency to purchase an offer. The interest is that they don't need to provide financial information and for those who haven't bank cards they can use these TMS credits as a payment solution after having pre loaded their account (via transfer or local solutions like 'cash in store').
